IB Properties began because of a disappointing experience selling a property. In 2020, our founder Ben Wright decided to sell his own apartment in Mallorca.

Like many owners, he initially spoke to traditional estate agents. The experience was frustrating. The fees were high, the interest felt limited and the service did not reflect the importance of the sale.
So he decided to handle it himself. He created a website, prepared the property properly, managed the enquiries and sold the apartment.
Why could an estate agency not offer the same level of care, presentation and personal involvement, while charging a fairer fee?
IB Properties was created to answer that question.
A different type of estate agency
From the beginning, the aim was not to build the largest property portfolio in Mallorca. The aim was to provide a better service to a smaller number of sellers.
That means taking responsibility for our advice, presenting every property properly and staying personally involved throughout. It also means being honest: no unrealistic valuations to win a listing, no pointless viewings, no uploading a property and waiting for the portals to do the work.
Built around the seller
Most sellers want the same things: an accurate valuation, a well-presented property, genuine buyers, useful feedback and an agent who stays involved when the sale gets complicated.
These principles shaped the way IB Properties works today. We offer an exclusive service with a clear strategy, professional marketing and a fee of 2.5% plus IVA. The model is straightforward: fewer properties, more attention and greater accountability.
Local, independent and personal
IB Properties is based in the north of Mallorca and remains independently owned. We understand that property sales are not simply transactions. They often involve homes, family decisions, financial plans and major life changes.
Our role is to give clear advice, handle the process professionally and make the experience as straightforward as possible. That remains the reason IB Properties exists.
